Anyway being that Manchester falls in Coffee County that means that we have to deal with not only the traffic and the smell of BO coming off the people walking around Manchester but also when idiots bring their children to Bonnaroo. I know you ask are you serious parents bring their children to Bonnaroo. Well yes they do. I was on call the first night of Bonnaroo and at 2:40 am I got a call saying that a person was passed out drunk under a tree and the 9 month old infant was 100 feet from them crying. So needless to say the beautiful 9 month old is in DCS custody. I then was able to spend 2 lovely days in court to deal with this parent of the year and heard that 124 citations were written and 72 arrests were made and thankfully only one child in custody. I am shocked and stunned that parents would bring an infant to a concert for 4 days in the 90-100 degree weather with no place to shower and only the ground to sleep on not to mention the LOUD music. Really??!! I realize that this event brings in 20 million for Manchester but after what I went through and saw it is so not worth it! You would think after doing what we do things would not shock us but this was the topper for me. I just can not imagine why in the hell this person thought taking a 9 month old to Bonnaroo was acceptable.
