Weekend

I did not realize that when high school basketball ended basketball was not really over! Then March Madness begins! I must say I am a little sick of basketball at this time but it was fun to see Jason get so pumped about Memphis. Instead of Jason going to Memphis and watching the games with his friends at bars he watched the game from home and took me to see RENT at the TPAC Center in Nashville on Saturday! I am so glad Memphis won on Saturday I mean I want them to win but I also am done with basketball at least until Ocotber. On Saturday despite the rain we went to Nashville and saw RENT. It was so GOOD! The only bad thing was that it ended and I did not want it too. We then had a fabulous dinner with Jason's parents at SouthSteet in downtown. It was such great food and will be a favorite hangout from now on. We happen to run into some friends and of course had to watch more basketball. Does it ever end? On Sunday Memphis creamed The University of Texas! Liam called me and said go Longhorns! I really tried to get him to say go Memphis Tigers but Liam said he did not want to say that. Jason was crushed and I am sure a Memphis jersey will be bought for Liam and Gibson so that Liam will cheer for Memphis! So it looks as if next weekend basketball will still be a part of our lives. Really does it ever end?
