On Saturday we went to Memphis to spend the weekend! Every year Memphis has what they call Memphis in May. They have one weekend of music. one weekend of barbecue and the last weekend is Sunset Symphony. This is were the Memphis Symphony plays by the river until the sun sets. Then they have a firework show. We went with a group of friends and had a blast! Plus it rained about 2 hours before so it was about 65 outside and perfect! I did leave my camera at home so I have no pictures of the weekend.
We stayed with Brad and Leslie. This is a picture from when we went to Boston last year. Then on Sunday we went to a couple baby shower honoring Brad and Leslie. What fun that was. And way to go Memphis ATO alumni for floating a keg in an hour and a half. I am glad you all still have it in you!! Leslie and Brad got a lot of great stuff and we can not wait to welcome Evie Kate into the world soon!!
On Monday on our way home from Memphis Daniel called and he and Brittney happened to be in Alabama for a last minute situation and they came over and spent the night with us. We were only about 3 hours from were they were. So they joined us for a cookout with Brandy and Adrian and we had a wonderful visit. And I will say yes Brittney Couture is who I have basically raised since she was 6 years old and if is funny that the 2 of them are dating. At least I know I love his girlfriend. We had such fun in Memphis and are sad that we will not make it up next weekend for Italian Fest.
